Wizard of OZ 1939

Directed by Victor Fleming, this is a classic that would be known for centuries is about a girl named Dorothy (Judy Garland) that is always daydreaming and longs for "a place where there isn't any trouble". She lives with her Auntie Em and Uncle Henry and along with farmhands. One Kansas day a tornado emerged. From a crashed window Dorothy passes out, and soon gets into a sleep that starts with a very adventured dream! Based on the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of OZ   by L. Frank Baum. Featuring Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale, Frank Morgan as the Wizard, Ray Bolger as the Scarecrow, Bert Lahr as the Cowardly Lion, Jack Haley as the Tinman, Billie Burke as Glinda, Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch, Charles Grapewin as Uncle Henry, Clara Blandick as Auntie Em and Terry who played Toto. The rumor is that Toto was stuffed and auctioned for $3,680. This was the most challenging classic musical film ever made in the 1930s and it is the most watched film in history! The song "Over the rainbow" received the Academy Award For Best Original Song. Even though it is based by the children's novel, it does have some differences from the book. Some versions the red ruby slippers are glass slippers, and some Wizard of OZ stories have a a mouse queen being chased by a cat, but its the best film and has many great effects and full of live still very famous today.

movie review: vanity fair

okay,have you seen "vanity fair" the movie? (not the magazine) its about a girl who lives with her father, whos a painter. and when he dies she goes and lives near the place for young ladies, where she is put a maid. when she gets older she gets to travel with her friend over the country to meet their friends. to end the story shortly, she gets merried and has a baby boy. what i wanted to say is, its a very dramatic movie. it doesn't mean that if it has reese witherspoon in it doesn't mean its non-dramatic like legally blonde! anyway, 5 stars for this movie!

leave it to beaver

leave it to beaver is so funny. they are very sweet. i hope you watch them, too. there are a family (2 sons) and have many adventures of learning life, and what you have to do. please comment, and tell me what you think!

project runway

do you watch project runway? i do. its neat, it shows you that fashion isn't all that easy, its a contest. okay, this is about project runway: its a tv show who picks young designers who get to pick their models, design clothes, and make them. but, there is always a a contest like: design clothes with composted fabrics, something like that. and they have to make their clothes. then, they show the clothes to the judges, and the judges tell which designer is going to be in the next episode. neat, huh? so, please comment soon.

phantom of the opera fan

i am a fan of the movie "the phantom of the opera" its very sad, so sweet, and very musical. i like it. i have the soundtrack on my ipod!! i my fave songs are: "the phantom of the opera", "think of me", "the point of no return" all from phantom of the opera!
